Surrounded by one of
the world’s oldest rainforests, Sabah Tea Garden is the largest single
commercial tea plantation in Borneo. It is also one of the very few Tea Gardens
in the world that is certified to produce organic tea. It is approximated area
of 1,000 acres is endowed with an interesting plant known as Camelia Sinensis
and it is from this plant’s leaves and buds that we get our superior tea –
Sabah Tea
When we went out from
Poring Hot Springs, we did saw a Sabah Tea Garden board so one of my friends
suggested go to Sabah Tea Garden. It took around 15 minutes arrive Sabah Tea
Garden.
At there has Borneo
Handicraft for you to buy some tea related souvenirs such as tea, postcard,
keychain and many more.
Then, we went out from
the house and took a look for the tea. Sadly that we did not allowed getting
close to Sabah Tea as it has a rope tied around tea.
Although we did not
have opportunity to get closer with tea, we still feel happy and relax to see
whole green color of tea.
The thing that I feel
so interesting at here was “Let’s Learn Dusun” paper which stick on wall because I did not know how to
speak Dusun so it is quite new for me.
