2015-09 Favorite Songs of Postcard Senders

Hanna from Sweden likes listen “Du Ar Min Man” (You’re my man) by Helen Sjoholm because it reminds of her husband. I did not know what the singer sing of because it's not my language but I quite like with its melody.

Isabel from Finland likes the song of “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin. This song also can see in the movie of “Top Gun”.  When heard of the first melody of the song, I was smile because it was so familiar. I had been heard this song in somewhere movie when I was small. Now I just knew the name of the song.
Berlin is an American new wave band. The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1978 by John Crawford (bass guitar). Band members included Crawford, Terri Nunn (vocals), Davis Diamond (keyboards), Ric Olsen (guitar), Matt Reid (keyboards) and Rod Learned (drums)- Wikipedia



Jeroen from Netherlands pick a song for me which is “Kronenburg Park” by Frank Boeijen. This song is about a park in her city.
Frank Boeijen is a Dutch singer and guitarist. His best known songs are “Kronenburg Park” about a prostitute, Zwart Wit about racial murder of Kerwin Duinmeijer in Amsterdam and Twee gezichten about a split personality- Wikipedia



Vivian from Hong Kong like listen song of “频率” (Frequency) by Soda Green. Vivian said that in busy life, it is not easy to find own frequency and the melody of this song is nice.
Soda Green is a Taiwanese Indie brand formed in 2001. This brand is well known for its main vocalist and songwriter Wu Tsing Fong who is prominent for his poetic lyrics, unique style and wide vocal range- Wikipedia




Catherine from Chile love listen song of “Wanda” by Paolo Conte because it is romantic and in Italian.
Paola Conte is an Italian singer, pianist, composer and lawyer notable for his grainy, resonant voice, his colorful and dreamy compositions as well as jazz music, South American atmospheres and of French language singers like Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens and his wistful, sometimes melancholic lyrics- Wikipedia

2015-09 Favorite Postcards Received

The structure of Chi Mei Museum is in white color and so beautiful. It is a comprehensive museum with wide collections of Western art, musical instruments, weaponry and natural history.


In 14th – 19th August, it has World Stamp Exhibition in Singapore. I received this postcard with its stamp mark. This postcard is 1914 1st Beijing Print Junk, Inverted Center Error, $2 postcard.


This was my first time to receive “Greeting From” postcard. It has introduction about country such as population, capital, famous people and many more.


When I received the postcard, I was smile because阿柏医师 (Taiwan doctor) was so special. This was my first time to see someone write message on the front of postcard instead of the back of postcard.


Through the postcard, I can saw that the structures of buildings in Stockholm are very beautiful.

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and the most populous city in the Nordic region. It is the cultural, media, political and economic center of Sweden- Wikipedia


This postcard is so cute with the hand drawing of Chang’e (Chinese goddess of the moon) eat moon cake. Talking about Chang’e, we will think of Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. The tales as below:-

This was my first time to hear of “St-Petersburg” so I online search to learn more.

Saint Petersburg is the 2nd largest city in Russia, politically incorporated as a federal subject. It is located on the Neva River at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea- Wikipedia

i-City: Trick Art Museum

Trick Art Museum is an art gallery where paintings on walls and floors are captured in 3 dimensions. This 8000 sq ft Trick Art Museum has 5 themes which are Masterpieces, Egyptian, Marine Life, Animal Kingdom and Modern Classic.



In Trick Art Museum have lots of paintings so you use your own imagination to play with these paintings to create illusion. Each painting looks different when seen from different angles. It create magic magnifies when seen from camera lenses.








Trick Art Museum in i-City is having same concept with Art in Paradise 3D Bangkok which I had been visited by last year.






If you did not have any idea about posing with paintings, near with each paintings has a posing picture for your reference.






Take picture with paintings is quite tired because need to act but it is fun when see the pictures.





In Trick Art Museum can fulfill your dream too such as be an angle, feed penguin, milking and even do some crazy action. Although it is not a true experience, the pictures come out looks like true.

i-City: Red Carpet Wax Museum

This was my second time to wax museum. My first time was at Madame Tussauds Bangkok so for some wax models, I had seen he/she for second times. Hehe..



Red Carpet Wax Museum located at G Floor, we went there by using lift.  In Red Carpet, you can meet with lots of Stars.




Red Carpet Wax Museum has 6 thematic zones such as World Icons, Celebrities, Sport Stars, World Records, All Stars Café and interactive.







Before go up, we are welcome by three pretty ladies and they can nod and said “Welcome” in their own language so don’t be surprise when they are talking. Haha..







Inside  of Red Carpet have more than 100 wax figurines of famous personalities around the worlds such as Mr. Bean, Jackie Chan, Datuk Lee Chong Wei, PSY, Michael Jackson, Queen Elizabeth and many more.






For some wax models which you are not familiar with, you can refer to a paper beside them for more details.






Looking back to my pictures, I found out that I am not good in posing because some people can do a fun pose with wax models. Look like I need to learn how to make a good and fun pose. Haha..






In Red Carpet, it has a staff in every section to make sure all the wax models are in good condition. When taking pictures, three of us take by turn so we wish to ask staff to help us to take picture. Unfortunately that the staff cannot help us because they had been told that cannot help visitor to take picture.






At the end of Red Carpet, it has a souvenir corner which has lots of souvenirs such as cloths, bear, keychain and many more. You can use your i-Card to buy the souvenirs.
