WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) Malaysia is established as a national conservation trust on 13 January 1972 and began as a humble two person-organization. The mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future.

You can buy some merchandise, purchase adoption pack or donate some money to support WWF’s conservation efforts.

For those interested to buy some merchandise such as t-shirts, water bottles and many more can go to Panda Shop to take a look. WWF offer donation for four categories such as “For a Living Planet”, “Wildlife Warrior”, “Turtle Guardian” and “Save the Orang Utan”. Besides that it offer 2 adoption packs which are symbolic adoption and my little adoption packs.

In June 2016, I purchased “Panda Adoption Pack”. It has 2 subscriptions which are one time or by monthly. My Little Adoption comes with an animal key chain and a door hanger. After made the payment, the next day I received a call from WWF to confirm my adoption details.

After few days I received my adoption pack which has a panda keychain, eco-friendly bag, door hanger and fact sheet on Panda.

Through the info card on panda, I just knew that The Giant Panda has been the symbol of WWF since organization was created in 1961.

Through the fact sheet, I found out some interesting facts.

* The giant panda’s Latin name is Ailuropoda melanoleuca.
* The average giant panda can eat up to 38 kilograms of bamboo in a day.
* The panda does not hibernate because it cannot store enough fat on a bamboo diet.
* Although it has the digestive system of a carnivore, the panda’s diet consists almost exclusively of bamboo which it usually spends 14 hours a day eating.

Besides that, I received receipt for payment with thank you letter. For your information that donation to WWF Malaysia are tax-deductible.

I saw from the website that as a WWF-Malaysia Donor, I will receive 4 Green Heart Magazines for quarterly. When I receive the magazine will update again in this post.

My Personalized Rubber Stamp

August 2014

I was so lucky that had won a personalized drawing by Yxji and free OctoGang line stickers. The drawing of Yxji is so cute and I like it very much. For your information that Yxji also draw a diary of a lovely couple in forms of cute and chubby octopuses, it is also cute and funny.

December 2014

In Instagram, I accidentally saw has custom made stamp named Stamp_addict. The price to make a rubber stamp is quite reasonable which small (RM 15), medium (RM 20) and large (RM 25). Therefore, I had ordered a medium custom made stamp with the picture of stamp is the drawing by Yxji (as above) and add on my name.

At first, I asked that whether can put my Chinese name on the stamp. Due to my Chinese name’s lettering, it is too small to be crave so last I change to use my English name. She is very fast to crave the rubber stamp for me to view it before post to me.

When I saw the final result of the rubber stamp, I had request the owner to do come changers on my rubber stamp because the blushing mark and hair shine has a little wired. Therefore, the owner had helped me to crave away the marks.

After few days, I had received my own rubber stamp in good condition and I also used it in postcard and envelope.

For those wish to order custom made stamp, my advise try to ask the owner for the draft first before he or she crave it so that any changers can be made before it be final products.

Penalty for Late Replacement of Identity Card

MyKad is the compulsory identity document for Malaysian citizens aged 12 and above. Below is the new look of identity card which has 2 pictures while my own identity card only has 1 picture. That why I went to change identity card with my sister after my sister keep asking for it.

Pic credit: Google
17th January 2015

In the morning, we went to National Registration Department to replace for new identity card. When at my turn, I gave my old identity card to the staff and she verifies my information in the system. She asked me that whether my age above 25 years old. I answered yes and she told me that between 18 to 25 years old, I did not go to replace identity card so I need to pay for penalty.

According to Regulation 18, National Registration Procedures 1990 (Amendment 2001) all persons aged 18-25 must change their identity card – Malaysia Central

It means that when you at 18 years old, you need to replace your current identity card as your picture in 12 and 18 years old will be different so you need to update your current picture on identity card. If between 18-25 years old, you did not replace your identity card then you need to pay for penalty.

My curious will be when is the next age that I need to change my identity card?

After paid for penalty, I need to take a new picture for my identity card. After took the picture and I agreed with this picture as my identity card’s picture, the staff told me that my sister took the photo for few times while I only took for one time. As my sister is a perfectionist so she needs to ensure her picture is beautiful. The staff even told me that he can take the picture until you satisfy, 10 times also no problem. Haha..

After took the picture, it was done. I need to wait around 1 month to collect the identity card. Remember to bring along the receipt and old identity card when collect identity card.

23rd February 2015

My mum had helped my sister and I collect identity cards as she brings my little sister to replace identity card. As my little sister did not reach 18 years old so the staff asked she to change it when she at 18 years old. If not, she needs to change the identity card for twice (before & after 18 years old). That why my little sister end up did not change her identity card.

When I got my identity card, I also take a look for my sister’s identity card and found out that she smile with teeth at the picture on identity card. As before this when I took a photo for my passport, the staff asked me not to show the teeth so when took photo for identity card, I did not smile at all. Aiya…

Inspiration Anti-stress Coloring

When you are stress, what would you do to relieve stress?

Eating? Shopping? Sleeping? Exercise? Travelling?

In this post, I will tell you another way to relieve stress which is coloring. Yup, coloring like a kids. That why you seldom see kids having stress :D When coloring, you will focus on it and keep color the pattern with the color that you likes. After finish coloring, you will feel happy and the stress will disappear too.

Recently, when I was online search for the book, I was accidentally found out an anti-stress coloring book. As it has Facebook Fanpage so I click into it to see more about it.  The name of the Fanpage is 清新舒压着色画粉丝团.

Inside of this Fanpage have 3 samples of coloring that for you to try for so I had asked my sister to join for me to color it. Then both of us choose for the coloring sheet that we want and print it out. The samples of coloring as below which you also can print it out and color it if you interested:-

After print it out, my sister and I started coloring. When coloring, it was fun as it was quite a long time that I did not coloring. It seem like I was back to kindergarten. After coloring, I had seen other fans had posted their coloring picture to the Fanpage. They were so talent that they knew how to color as they not only coloring, they also done for some drawing. Example a shoe, I may color the shoe with red color but other people will try to draw some pattern on the shoe before color it.

Below is the coloring of my sister and I, I know that in term of coloring, I still need some improvement:-

Below are the 3 types of anti-stress coloring book that can be finding:-

When first saw of this series of notebook, I had attracted by its illustration which looks cute but I did not buy for it as I did not know where can I use for it.

When second times went to the shop and saw of this notebook again, I told myself that just buy it without thinking too much. Then, I had bought all series of this notebook which was 4 books with RM 2.90 each.

As sharing is caring so I had asked my two sisters to choose the cover of notebook that they like and gave to them and I only keep for two books.
