Accommodation in Limbang- Purnama Hotel

Purnama Hotel is a 3 star hotel which also is the tallest landmark in Limbang. It located at Jalan Buangsiol. It has 2 types of rooms which are 2 single beds at RM 105 while 1 queen bed and 1 single bed at RM 115.  I had enjoyed free buffet breakfast at Kuali Coffee House (Level 1) which also as an entrance to Limbang Plaza.

This Chinese Temple locates near of Limbang Plaza.

Limbang Regional Museum

Limbang Regional Museum was official declared open by Honorable Datuk Adenan Haji Satem, the Minister of Social Development on 27th August 1994. This museum building was an old fort which was built in year 1897.

The ground floor of Limbang Regional Museum used for administrative purposes while 1st floor is a museum for visiting. It display the history, culture and lifestyle of people such as bamboo band, salt making, beadwork, bark cloth, brassware, basketry and others. The admission is free.

Limbang Plaza

Limbang Plaza is the first shopping complex built in Limbang which start operate since year 1998. This building has 3 components which is Purnama Hotel, Shopping Mall and Government Offices (located right on the top of the mall). There have multi-storey car parks which connected to the Limbang Plaza through a bridge. Inside of Limbang Plaza has Maybank ATM.

I found this map at KWSP website as my references in Limbang. For those who like to eat Chinese food can find many Chinese coffee shops at Jalan Buangsiol especially around Hong Leong Bank and Public Bank there. For those who like to eat Malay food can find at in front of Limbang Plaza and Tamu Market. Limbang Central Market is a market for selling non-halal things which operates by Chinese.

At roundabout of Jalan Buangsiol, you can see landmark of Limbang, Buffalo.

Immigration Department in Limbang

For those who are not Sarawakian, need to report to Immigration counter. At Immigration counter, you need to show up your Identity Card or Passport and you will get a slip or pass. This pass is valid for you to visit Limbang up to 90 days. You cannot lose this slip because you need to return this when you go back.
