[Itinerary]

The Berkeley Hotel is the latest full-service luxury hotel that providing an unsurpassed range of services and facilities in the heart of the city’s world-renowned shopping and leisure attractions. It is encompassing 788 rooms and suites.

The Berkeley Hotel has connectivity to The Palladium World Shopping Mall from its lobby. We just only managed to pass by some shops in this shopping mall as we did not have many times for it. Most of the shops in this shopping mall closed after 7.00 p.m.

We went to hotel by taking taxi from airport.We had booked for Luxury Suite Corner for 3,150 Baht per night through online before went to Bangkok. When checked in, we need to pay for 300 Baht for deposit which was refundable during check out.

The lobby of the hotel is big and beautiful while the sofa seat is comfortable. 

Drinks

At the lobby, you can get some drink from there. Usually it has 2 cold drinks which are plain water and fruit drinks. It is so good as sometimes we just back from shopping were too thirsty so we can have some drinks first before go to our room.

At the lobby also has restaurant and bakery. As we did not get free breakfast so I did not try for its food in restaurant.

This hotel has 2 towers which are Main Tower and North Tower but I did not have time to explore for the North Tower. Our room is at Main Tower. Main Tower has rooms, ballroom, meeting room, bar, swimming pool and many more. In order go to North Tower, you need to transfer walk way from Main Tower. In North Tower also have some rooms, café, swimming pool, fitness center and spa.

Our room is Luxury Suite Corner which is so luxury with nice view. In this room has twin queen sized beds, sofa, flat screen TV, hair dryer, coffee and tea facilities, mini-refrigerator and so on. It did provide free mineral water for us. I had used its kettle to boil water to drink for Chrysanthemum.

The WiFi of this hotel is good as every level has it owns WiFi with password. Then everyone in the room can online freely. The speed of WiFi is good. The only things that I dislike in this hotel was lighting that same as The 5 Element Hotel in Kuala Lumpur as the light in the room was so romantic that I was so difficult to write postcard so I usually done it in the morning.

Switch for you to charge your phone

It has 2 switches in the room which was on the table while the other one on the wall that near with sofa. Besides that, it has 2 writing tables which was near with the bed while the other near with the washroom. I usually use the writing table that near with washroom as at the back has a window that allows the sunlight come in.

Bathroom

The washroom is big that has a window that you can open if you want. In this hotel has provided shampoo, soap, body moisturizer, brush, toothpaste and others.

Inside cupboard has bathrobes & torch light

The cupboard is so big that inside of it have bathrobes. Besides that, it was my first time to see that the hotel did provide torchlight that also inside in that cupboard.

The location of this hotel is good as in the night, there will be many stalls open at the front of hotel so it is easily for us to search for food when hungry and continue shop for clothes and so on.

Swimming pool

Travel agent & tailor shop

Although we did not have time to explore the hotel, we still spend some time to go swimming pool to take a look. Near with swimming pool has café, travel agent and even has tailor shop.

Concierge counter

Concierge Counter is one of the most important counters in the hotel (near with entry of the hotel) as we had asked for the direction to Asiatique and I had ask them to help me post out the postcard. The hotel has taxi services that you can make a request at Concierge Counter and they will help you to arrange it. Before the last day of the trip, we had request a taxi through Concierge Counter for us to arrive airport. The staff in Concierge Counter is so friendly.
