At second day in Kuala Lumpur, my cousin and I had changed
from Mangga Hotel to The
5 Elements Hotel as stay in Mangga Hotel is not convenience for us especially
go out while stay in area of Chinatown will easy for us to take monorail or Light
Rail Transit (LRT) to everywhere.
The 5 Elements Hotel |
We had chosen Superior Twin that cost us RM 180
per night. I like the lobby of this hotel that looks big, clean and nice. As
you can see, this hotel has Chinese style as The 5 Elements in Traditional
Chinese Feng Shui means Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water.

After done with check in, we went to our room by lift.
After came out from lift, you can see that it has an illustration of tree at the
front of lift’s door.

When went it our room, the room looks comfortable and big.
At the wall of room also has a tree illustration. As I did not has much times
spend in room due to we want to save more times in shopping so all of the
pictures in room were snapped by me while my cousin was bathing after came back
from shopping. Then, the room in pictures have a little bit messy as mixing with our own
stuff.

Our room rate had included breakfast and WiFi password but
we did not eat breakfast that provided by hotel as my cousin would like to try
breakfast at Chinatown. For WiFi, the speed is good but the ones that I dislike
in this room was the light because so romantic that the room was not bright
even switch on all the lights. It really made me suffering while online as it
will make my eyes tired.
Room pass |
The washroom has provided with body wash, shampoo and
towel. The shower water made us confusions as the water’s temperature (hot and
cold) will change from time to time and we did not find has any things to
control the water’s temperature so we had tried bath
with cool and hot water at different times. Really cannot expect what
temperature of water will come out during bathing *Sweat*

The hotel also provided a mirror for us in room other than washroom so
it is good as both of us will not need to share for a mirror. The disadvantage
of this mirror is the location as mirror facing the bed is bad Feng Shui.
Luckily that my cousin did not has any nightmare for her sleep.
mirror |
If the mirror looks sideways onto your bed it is not a problem, why are
mirrors in bedroom considered bad?
First belief: When you sleep at night, your soul is supposed to leave
your body and when it leaves, the first things it sees is a reflection of
itself and get startled and this is causes nightmares and a restless sleep.
Second belief: When you sleep, your body recharges itself with fresh
Ch’i and negative Ch’i leaves your body. If there is a mirror facing you the
negative Ch’i cannot leaves your body.

We spent 2 nights at
this hotel. After 2 nights, it’s time for us to go back to Labuan. At there,
you can ask the help from hotel receptionist to help you find taxi driver to
send you to airport. The taxi fee from hotel to airport cost us RM 90.
