2014-11 Favorite Postcards Received

This month beside postcard, I had received some small gift.

The first is handmade stamp postcard that sent from Taiwan with a bracelet. 


The second is a Taurus card with a Wroclaw view coaster. Wroclaw is the largest city in Western Poland.

This paper postcard has a small corner for balloon film which looks very nice and my first time to receive it. This postcard also shows the Taiwan Balloon Festival. The Balloon Festival in Malaysia, I also did not go before. Hope has chance to join for Balloon Festival that either take place in Malaysia or Taiwan.


This is shaped Taiwan’s Glove Puppetry postcard. Based on Wikipedia that Glove Puppetry is a type of opera using cloth puppets that originated during the 17th century in Quanzhou or Zhangzhou of China’s Fujian province.


This is simple postcard that show a word of “I Y NY”. If you interested to know more information about I LOVE NEW YORK attractions can visit iloveny.com.  I think Malaysia should have such postcard “I Y MY”.


Receiving postcard really open my eye as through this postcard, I just know Dragon Tiger Tunnel on Lianchihtan, Kaohsiung City.  This tunnel has a dragon and tiger on it.


Are you One Piece (Japanese Manga) lover? This postcard bought by my postcard friend from Taiwan One Piece Exhibition.


This is recipe postcard about the recipe of Russian Cuisine, Borscht (Red Beet Soup). Based on Wikipedia, Borscht is a soup of Ukrainian origin that is popular in many Eastern and Central European cuisines including those of Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. In most of these countries, it is made with beetroot as the main ingredients.  


Sun Cake is one of popular dessert in Taiwan which originally from Taichung that filings consist of maltose (condensed malt sugar). This postcard shows illustration of the shops in Taichung that selling Sun Cake since 1949. 


This postcard shows a picture of Singapore Flyer (a giant Ferris wheel) which looks very beautiful. Hope in future can pay a visit to Singapore.


This is my first Santa Claus postcard that sent by CP Yap from Hong Kong. Cute Santa Claus!


When received this postcard, I was attracted with the word of “Kansas” as never heard it before so I find more about “Kansas” via online. Based on Wikipedia, Kansas is in United States and is the most populous municipality in the state of Missouri. 


Besides the proverb on this postcard, Tsuimin had told me another proverbs which is “Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge” by Eckhart Tolle.
