Date: 10 July 2013 (Wednesday)
Venue: Labuan Walk
This month is fasting month for Muslim in
Malaysia so there will be a lot of food stalls set up around Malaysia. At my place,
the huge Ramadan Bazaar located at Labuan Walk and it opens from 2 pm until 7 pm just
before the time where Muslims break their fast.
There will be a lot of food selling at Ramadan Bazaar such
as noodles, rice, satay (grill meat), drinks, dessert, burger and many more. As
I needed to wait for the stall to be close (click here to know what happen to me) so I had
much of times to take a look at this bazaar.
At
this Ramdan Bazaar, I had spotted some foreigners came to this bazaar and took a photo of the food at there. It is a good place to know more about Labuan
especially the food.
The times I went around, the bazaar was full of
people to buy food. I like this place as it has a place to let people sit
down after tired walk around the bazaar or to eat the food which located at the center of Labuan Walk.
It has a “smoke heaven” at Ramadan Bazaar (picture as below) which the entire
stall that sells grill food will located at there. At there, you can find Satay (a dish of
seasoned, skewered and grilled meat), grilled chicken and others. It is also the place where my car was stuck park at there (~.~)
Coming out from “smoke heaven”, your cloth will has a smell
of smoke as there is full of big smoke because every stall at there busy grill food for
sell.
After sunset (about 6.15 pm), it was fast-breaking times and
can heard pray sound came from mosque. Many people especially Malay sat down
and ate the food at Labuan Walk. At this bazaar, I just brought ABC (mixed ice)
for drink and did not buy any food as my mum had been prepared dinner at home.
