When saw for these stamps, I was so curious for the country
named Latvija because it was my first times to heard about it. To know more
about this country, the best way is through Wikipedia.
The word of “Latvija” which printed on stamp actually is in
Latvian language. Based on Wikipedia, Latvia is official the Republic of Latvia
is a country in Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is boarded to the north by
Estonia, to the south by Lithuania, to the east by Russia and to the southeast
by Belarus.
I just wonder why I did not know about this country because
Latvia is one of the least populous and least densely populated countries of
the European Union. The capital of Latvia is Riha and the currency is called
Lats.
