Wordless Wednesday: 100 Years of Petaling Street - Happy Goat Year

'Wordless Wednesday: Postcard' is recording all the postcards that I had bought from time to time for exchange purpose.

This series of postcards or New Year greeting card is published by Kaki Jelajah Warisan. This postcard is big in size with descriptions of Chinese and English.

A Place of Worship - Sin Sze Si Ya Temple
A Morning Scene- Jalan Petaling
A Family Portrait of Lord Shiva and Parvati - Sri Mahamariamman Temple

Lord Shiva also known as Mahadeva (Great God) and the god of destruction in Hinduism,
Parvati is the wife of Lord Shiva and the supreme goddess in Hinduism.
Ganesha is the eldest son. A symbol of wisdom, Ganesha's elephant head makes him easily to identify.
Skanda is the younger brother of Ganesha and a deity born for battle. He was endowed with a Vel by Parvati to quell demonic forces.
Traditional Cantonese Confectionery - Ho Yoke Kee
A Century Old Market - Open Market Outside Central Market
The Streets and Alleys of Old Kuala Lumpur
