Pulau Rimau Stamp (Malaysia)

From times to times, I will buy many stamps for my stocks.  By having some stamps or stocks in house will easily for me to write postcard and paste the stamp on it. Then, I can send out postcard at any time without need to queue up at counter to buy stamp.

Usually I will get the flower stamp through counter. This time, I get the Pulau Rimau stamps which look beautiful. As Pulau Rimau is not a tourist spot and not open for tourism, not wonder I did not hear it before.

Pulau Rimau is a small island on the southeast corner of Penang Island, off the coast of Permatang Damar Laut. It is a site of a lighthouse which helps ship navigates into the South Channel of Penang. The lighthouse was built by British. It is a steel tower that is 17 meters tall and is sited at an elevation of 39 meters. Apart from the lighthouse itself, Pulau Rimau is uninhabited Penang Travel Tips
