Christmas 2014: Letter from Santa Claus Germany (Postcode 31132)

11^th November 2014

This was my first reply letter from Santa Claus.

The handwriting of Santa Claus is so beautiful which spotted on envelope.

Inside envelope has a story brochure that written in German which I did not understand about it but the picture looks nice.

The stamps of Germany are nice with Christmas postmark that dated 24.12.2012.

At the back of stamps paper has address of Santa Claus.

Last was a letter to me which also written in German. The word of “Liebe” means “Dear” in English which I found via Google Translate.

The Postcard Happiness Project: Merry Christmas 2014

Recently, I accidentally found out The Postcard Happiness Project which is a free initiative that enables us to send postcards to others who could benefit from a little postal kindness.

As Christmas is coming soon so I planned to send postcards to all the persons in this project. I just looked for the post which is active and open to receiving postcards by copy down their address. Before copy their address, I will read about their introduction and know more about them. Many of them are having cancer, hope they will stay strong and fight with cancer.

As I did not have Christmas postcard so I choose 2 types of postcard that I have to be send out. The “I am Happy Angel” postcard was for female while postcard of Jeffersonism was for male while the dog postcard is for a boy who like dog that I knew through his introduction.

First, I will write down all the address on postcard first before start writes the postcard. After wrote all the address, I just knew that I had written an address on a blank postcard. In “I am Happy Angel” postcard, it has 2-3 pieces of blank postcards.

For the blank postcard, I had drawn a Santa Claus with a word of “Merry Christmas”.

I was quite lazy. Haha.. As all the content of postcard, I wrote for same massage. Anywhere, hope they will safety receive and like it.

Postcard DIY: Nail Polish Postcard

Before this, I had saw someone posted picture of drawing with nail polish that made me have an idea of postcard DIY.

I have many nail polishes and seldom to use too. It’s a great idea to use nail polish on postcard.

First, I would like to draw the bottle for nail polish then I draw some line for it.

I draw for 9 nail polishes.

After finished draw nail polish and color the cap of nail polishes, I had taken my nail polishes and start to color with nail polish.

When I want to start color with nail polish, I just noticed that I had more than 9 nail polishes so I draw additional of 3 bottles nail polish.

It has 12 blank nail polishes on my postcard.

It’s time to color with nail polish.

It was not easy to color with nail polish as the texture of all nail polish was not the same as some sticky, liquidity and many more.

Dong Muang International Airport Bangkok

[Itinerary]

During my Bangkok trip, I had been taken for Air Asia Flight that landed in Dong Muang International Airport which is one of the two International Airports while the other one is Suvarnabhumi Airport. Air Asia started operated in Don Muang Airport on 1^st October 2012.

05 July 2014 (Saturday)

10.50 a.m. – 12.05 p.m. Krabi >> Bangkok (Flight FD3230)

After having breakfast at The Buddy Restaurant, we were waiting for the resort staff to take us to airport. Do inform the receptionist a day before you take your flight so that they can arrange a transport for you.

When we went out from flight, we were directly gone to look for taxi so did not have time to walk around in airport. I had spotted has money changer if you short of Thai Baht.

We needed took for taxi to The Berkeley Hotel as this hotel did not have airport transfer services. The airport taxi fare is based on meter plus 50 Baht surcharge. At the Taxi Fare Board, I had saw it had stated that all the toll way or express way fee must be paid by the passenger. From airport to The Berkeley Hotel, we did not meet with any toll way or express way.

When waiting for the taxi, everyone is queue up by turn for taking the taxi. After few minutes, it’s was our turn to take taxi. You will be given a public taxi ticket before go in the taxi that at the back of the ticket has complaint form if you did not satisfy with the taxi services.

08 July 2014 (Tuesday)

7.10 a.m. – 10.15 a.m. Bangkok >> Kuala Lumpur (Flight FD311)

The flight departure on 7.10 a.m. so we must arrived early before this so we had booked a taxi to take us to there by 4 a.m. to avoid traffic jam. After half an hour, we safety arrived at Dong Muang Airport. After that, we checked in our language.

After done of it, we having our breakfast. As yesterday, I had been brought bread in 7-11 so I ate it for my breakfast while my friends brought noodle cup in shop.

As we wake up before 4 a.m. so all of us were very tired and we sleep during the flight. Then, the time fly when we sleeping that made us feel that flight was so fast arrived.

International Gift Exchange with Grace

Grace (Singapore blogger) had posted an International Gift Exchange activity that open for those who are not a resident of Singapore. To join for it, you just have to send to Grace a gift that is made in your country and she will send to you one from Singapore.

Before this, I had joined for gift exchange with Hanna and Irene which mainly on stationery. Now the exchange is the gift that made from Malaysia. For this exchange, I had went to handcraft center or stall to look for any gift that made from Malaysia and it would be good that has printed the word of “Labuan”.

Before this exchange activity, I did not ever go to handcraft center or stalls because those places usually are tourist spot while I am local. The things that printed “Labuan” words are limited. The things that made me surprise during visit to handcraft center is a Guess brand pouch that printed “Labuan”. That pouch also can be considered as made in Malaysia with the word of “Labuan”? So weird!

Now, take a look for the gift that I prepared for Grace.

I had gone to Tourism Center to take “Explore Labuan” brochure. I wish to get an English version but it was out of stock so I just took for the Chinese version. I also had seen that it has Japanese version.

This “Visit Malaysia 2014” badge also took from Tourism Center.

I knew that Grace is Hello Kitty lover so I had bought her a Hello Kitty Strawberry Pretzel. This is not made in Malaysia. Haha..I just bought to her as I knew that she will like it.

This set of mini mugs will be the gift that made in Malaysia as it has printed the places in Labuan which I found interesting and cute. Surprise that this set of mugs were not finding in handcraft center or stall but found in Supermarket.

“I Love Labuan” bracelet was bought from handcraft center which I saw that it is nice.

I had written some massage to Grace in this chewing gum card. Interesting right?

After bought the gift, it’s time to wrapping. I had chosen a box to fill in all the things as I scared that the strawberry sticks will crushed during the delivery.

After fill in all the things to a box, I had wrapping the box with Hello Kitty plastic and send out at the next day.

Now, take a look for the gift that sent from Grace.

Grace had sent to me a Meiji’s Hello Panda biscuits with a bunny keychain.

Sadly that the biscuit was crushed when I opened it :(

Grace thought that the bubble wrap envelope will prevent the biscuit from getting crushed and the real was it does not work. It’s ok as I knew that it was not Grace’s fault.
