My First Impression about Bangkok

Bangkok is a capital for Thailand. The time difference between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Time Zone: UTC/GMT +8 hour) and Bangkok, Thailand (Time Zone: UTC/GMT +7 hours) is 1 hour. It means that Thailand is 1 hour behind Malaysia.  Bangkok is same as Malaysia that having sunny day all the year.

In July 2014, I had gone to Krabi and Bangkok for holiday. For Krabi, I did not need to do any homework before I go to there as we had arranged for island hoping while I need to do some research before go to Bangkok.

I had online to find Bangkok BTS map that easily for me to reach the places that I want. Usually the travel places such as Siam mall, Terminal 21, Chatuchak and many more can be reaches by sky train. It is very convenience.

Before go to Bangkok, I knew that the hotel that I will be stay in Bangkok is The Berkeley Hotel so I had searched online to find out where the hotel is located. Luckily, I had found out the part of map that showed the hotel located at. Through the map, I can saw that it quite near with Siam mall such as Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and so on. The nearest BTS station from hotel is Chit Lom.

The part that I like with this map is you can find some discount by present this map such as in July, you can enjoy 20% discount to Siam Ocean World but only for non-resident or tourist.

In this month’s copy, it has introduced some travel places in Thailand such as Heavy Metal Buddhist Style or Golden Buddha that is the world’s largest solid gold statue. Besides that, it also introduced Bangkok’s Dusit Zoo which is the oldest zoo in Thailand. In this map, you also can get know the events and exhibition for the month.
