Postcard Project: Geography School Project

Hi, I’m a teacher in lower secondary school in Poland. I’d like to know if someone interested in exchanging a postcard between you and my class. We are doing geography project which deals with getting postcards from different parts of the world (landscapes and city views). I want to display the postcards later on and show them to the greater public in my school.

As the purpose of this Geography project is introducing the students about the places in the world so I had chosen a postcard with stunning view from hanging bridge at Langkawi cable car. Hope they will like my selection of postcard.

My Christmas swap with Hanna & Irene

I had received Hanna’s parcel. On the parcel, can saw have 2 cute stickers.

Let take a look of the small gifts that I received from Hanna.

Hanna had given me a set of beautiful tapes that I can use on postcard for decoration. My tape collection had been increase as recently I also brought some tapes with cute cartoons and patterns.

She also included some tissue papers with printed picture. This was my first time to see tissue paper that has picture on it.

As this was Christmas swap, I had received Santa Claus clip. It was so cute!

This is a small notebook. Inside of notebook is grid line but is not straight line or blank page. Just wonder what can I write with this notebook, need to figure it out..

This is a keychain from CIBA Vision. I think this is a freebie from eye care shop. I also had google to know more about this CIBA Vision and found out that Malaysia also has branch.

Hanna had written a Christmas card for me with 3 different Germany views of blank postcards.   

This is an Avocado soap that can use for body after I confirmed from Hanna as the packaging of soap is written on German.

How to use:

1. Spread mask over face and gently press on mask with fingertips to ensure a snug fit.

'Wordless Wednesday: Postcard' is recording all the postcards that I had bought from time to time.

Christmas Swaps with Helena & Irene

At the end of September 2013, I had made a Christmas swaps with Helena (Germany) & Irene (Finland).  Let take a look for what I had been prepared for them.

I had brought 2 small pouches for me to fill in the small items that brought by me. 

I like to eat Vita C sweets so I also brought it to them for try. It has a little bit sourly that keep me refresh every time eat this.

This is Christmas swap so definitely need to send a Christmas card too. I had selected some cute illustration Christmas cards to be sent. By seeing these Christmas card also feel very happy as this Christmas card bring out feeling of happy, warm and joyful.

I had brought some stationery for them such as cat stick pads, bookmarks with pencils shape, stamp stickers and chewing gum note. I like this chewing gum note so much as you can write some message in it and when your friends open it, they will feel surprise of it. 

As my swap partners are girls so I also brought some accessories for them such as necklace, earrings and hair band. 

I also had includes magnets to them that I brought during travel at Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Sadly to said that the magnet of lovely birds cannot work as it cannot stick on fridge which told by Irene. 

I had included a small Christmas flag inside the parcel for them.

As 2014 would be Visit Malaysia Year so I had went to Tourism office to take 2 copies books for Calender of Events and Festivals for Year 2014 to them for reference. Besides book, I also had included Visit Malaysia 2014 badges to them.

The parcels that sent to Germany and Finland with snail mail cost me RM 50 ++ according to its weight and luckily that the two of parcels safety arrive to Hanna and Irene.
