2016-03 Favorite Postcards Received

My Postcrossing ranking for March 2016 as below:-

On 79th most postcards sent from Malaysia
On 82nd longest distance sent from Malaysia

This is postcard from Marleena Ansio. I did not know what the postcard about so I was using google translate and the result also quite blurr. When translated to English, it about “Life is to be able to enjoy, and once in a while is also a necessary moment of indulgence and stationery”. I just curious that why have the word of “stationery”?

When exchange postcard with Zhen, she required me to fill in all the details in G-Form. In the form has ask me to choose what kind of postcard which wish to receive and she had listed down some choices and one of the choices is herself portraits postcard. When received the postcard, she told me that I am the one who want to receive her own picture as postcard. Haha..

Before this Secret Garden coloring was very popular and this postcard is also from a coloring book of “Secret Garden”.

On 19th March 2016, it had Postcrossing meeting in Uppsala, Sweden. This postcard was created for this meeting and at the back of postcard has signature of Postcrossers who attend the meeting.

This postcard was from Ningxia, China. Zhan Long told me that Ningxia has beautiful lake, mountains, desert and Great West Xia Culture, Hui Muslim Culture. If have chance I also wish to go there to take a look.

This postcard shows the illustration of Giant leatherback turtles have returned to the same spot in Terengganu for centuries to lay their egg. This postcard is quite funny because when turtle lay the egg, suddenly it was fart. I just curious that what the reaction of the people who saw it. Haha..

This postcard is teaching Cantonese idiom which is to lure a ghost to eat tofu means to trick someone. I like this postcard very much because the way it presents is so interesting. If you don’t know how to pronounce can scan the QR-code to listen it.

  1. It is the first time I get to know about the event of Postcrossing. Wonder how you store your post cards?
