The Merlion is a well-known marketing icon of Singapore depicted as mythical creature with a lion’s head and a body of a fish. It is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore. Its name combines “mer” meaning the sea and “lion”. The fish body represents Singapore’s origin as a fishing village when it was called Temasek which means “sea town” in Javanese. The lion head represents Singapore’s original name- Singapura- meaning “lion city”.
Based on Wikipedia, it has 5 Merlions in Singapore are the only ones recognized by the Singapore Tourism Broad.

From Raffle Places MRT Station, we followed the exit “H” direction which leads us into a mall and we walked straight until go out from the mall. After come out, we looks for The Fullerton Hotel and keep walking (without crossing the river) until highway. Then we cross the road (opposite side can see One Fullerton) and go down to the bottom of the stairs of the bridge and Merlion at there. I think my explanation is not so good so better watch video.
Although this video which gets from You Tube is not so complete because it did not show how to go from MRT station, you still can take a look so that has some idea how to go.
That time I reach Merlion Park, it has lots of tourist and it is very hot (afternoon). It is very difficult to take a good picture with Merlion unless you come here at the early morning.
From this trip, I found out that I had improved a bit for the Wefie because I can take pictures with the building or things that I want. Before this I did not know how to take the pictures with the things because most of times, I cannot takes our (myself and things) in one pictures. I still need to improve for it especially my face expression. Haha..
