Many
years ago, Lau King Howe Hospital is very big. Now Lau King Howe
Hospital just maintains one block of it for museum purpose.
Lau King Howe Hospital was built in the
1930s as the first general hospital Sibu. Its founder, the late Mr. Lau King
Howe, donated his personal wealth to set it up. In appreciation, the colonial
government named it Lau King Howe Hospital.
One
of my friends was birth in this hospital. When small, he always came to this
hospital when he was sick.
Inside
of it can see much old equipment which used by doctor long time ago. That time
the technology is not as good as now so it mostly is big in size.
You
will find out this museum is quite interesting with the equipment exhibition in
it.
