luxurious private Villa with an elegant and traditional feel-on wooden stilts
just like an authentic Kalimantan House, complete with a raised walkaway -

gardens. Located close to heart of Pontianak Gardenia Resort and Spa is the
only true resort feel in the city of Equator Land. Its is only 5 Minutes by car

Upon Check in, we had been invite to
drink welcome drinks from the staff while waiting for it. The receptionist will
request for 150,000 Rupiah for deposit which is refundable when check out.
Opposite of receptionist counter is
lobby.
Three of us stayed in Terrace Suite Villa
with one extra bed (RM 72.32) costed us RM 216.87 for one night. The room
booked via Agoda website. It comes with 2 complimentary breakfast voucher so
one person need to pay for the breakfast which cost 60,000 Rupiah.
I
think Gardenia Resort & Spa Pontianak has been open for quite some years
which some villas and facilities look quite old. From time to time, they will
having maintenance or repairing for those villas.
Inside
villa is quite big and made from wood. Even the washroom (dry part) also made
of wood.
Inside
washroom has prepared some items such as toothbrush, shampoo and others. For
me, the water for bathing is no so strong.
The villa has great view that features
garden and individual terrace. For those who love nature can come here for a
stay. Besides insert, I saw a small and slim white snake when walking. It moves
very fast.
Beside Villa, it has a small pavilion
which good for gathering.
For those who plan for proposed to the
love one or honeymoon can choose here. Both of you can enjoy dinner at small
pavilion with nice decoration.
This resort is suitable for photo taking.
Every angle also beautiful, even has lotus lake.

I would love to stay there for a week. Kalimantan has their signature architecture esp the roofs. Did you have blissful massage everyday?

DeleteAs the time was quite rush, before afternoon must reach airport so I did not try for their massage but my friend did. The therapist only one so only one-person can try for it due to time constraints.
