Garbage Enzyme

Based on The DIY Secrets, garbage enzyme is a concentrated liquid which is a product of 3 month fermentation process made from kitchen waste (only fruits and vegetables and no meat or anything else ) , black sugar and water. Example kitchen waste is fruits peels, left over fruits, carrots and others.

Garbage enzyme can used in many ways as below:-

1. Household cleaning solution

2. Keeping insects away

3. Purifying the air

4. As composition for plants and vegetables

5. As natural pesticide

6. Prevents blockage in drainpipes

After reading the article about garbage enzyme, I had realized that garbage enzyme was so useful in our daily life specially it can protect our environment.

A Lion Called Christian by Anthony Bourke & John Rendall

This book start with Anthony ‘Ace’ Bourke and John Rendall visited London from Australia in 1969 and brought a boisterous lion cub in Harrods. But Christian soon grew from cuddly cub to King of the Kings Road. The only way to avoid him being incarcerated in a zoo was to place him under the expert care of George Adamson in Kenya.

Ace and John did not return to see their lion for a year. After a year, they plan to visit Christian. Could a year apart have changed their relationship?

To understand more about this story, I had included a video from You Tube. After watch this video, I feel touching with the relationship of 2 men and 1 lion.

The table had been sold, and now there were several deep scratches on it. We telephoned the woman who had bought it to apologize. ‘Don’t worry,’ she said. ‘I only came into the shop to see Christian; the table was an after thought. Please don’t worry about the scratches. They will remind me of that beautiful lion.’

On 12 August 1970, Christian celebrated his first birthday. Unity made him a birthday cake of minced meat. There was one candle on top, and before Christian ate it and the cake, we made a wish that he would soon be in Kenya.

Suddenly George heard cries from the same direction, and grabbing his gun ran out to see his African assistant Stanley in Boy’s jaw. George shouted at Boy, who dropped Stanley. George shot Boy dead and he rushed to Stanley’s aid, but the assistant died almost immediately.

Chap Goh Mei 2013 Part III

I had went to Station 2 to look for the performance like lion dance, the God tour and others because I will need to wait for more longer if I choose to see the performance at Station 3.

As you can see, the people at Station 2 became crowd because many of them wait for the performance.

The night also has many beautiful fireworks.

First performance was dragon dance. It was quite difficult for me to have a nice shooting for this activity because the dragon keeps moving. Besides that, the place I stand was too far, just keep using zoom method.

After dragon dance, it’s time to set up the things (LED stand) that need for lion dance.

Lion keep moving to the top.

When at the top, the lion had light up the banner of the Station 2.

The banner had been light up.

The God tour started after lion dance. Each God will carry by at least 2 men or more. Then, they will go a round at Station 2. It was the most difficult part for photo shooting as the place I stand did not has any light and the God tour also keep moving. 

After this, the time showed 11.00 p.m. and I needed to go home because the next day I still need to work.

iPad or Book ?

Does this book look like iPad?

When in book store, I had seen this iPad cover reference book so I brought it for my sister. Nowadays  the book publisher also follow the waive of technology. Cool!!! 

"I Choose Malaysia" Postcard

I had received this postcard through mail. This postcard is telling me about my voting information again. 

Why I said “again”? It was because I had received almost same before which has a picture of Prime Minister.

This postcard has the picture of Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin who is the Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Well-being.  This postcard also wrote “ Terima kasih kerana mendaftar sebagai pengundi” (In English: Thank you for register as voter).

Chap Goh Mei 2013 Part II

Went to Station 2 after finished visited at Station 3.

   Before arrive in Station 2, you will see a big door.

Same as Station 3, this station still no so crowd. Again, it was better for photo shooting session.

At there, you can saw some food that for worship such as chicken, duck, cake and others.

All the longevity noodles were arranged in pyramid shape.

The jelly can made the picture of vegetables with Chinese word “出入平安” means safe when going in & out to somewhere.

Two fishes with one word “福” means blessing.

Cake with the word of “年年有余” means may you have surplus and remainders year after year. The word “鱼” is a homonym for “余” so you can see some fish on cake.

The cake has snake printed with much gold.

The cake is like a yellow snake on the glass.

It has two cute yellow and green color snakes on the cake.

The snake with its eggs and wafer stick as fence. Does it look like real?

The big yellow snake is protecting its egg. Do you dare to steal it?

This is the other types of cake of snake.

Fish made from jelly. Do you see the blue dolphin?

I think these 2 snakes are husband and wife. The wife is the one with the egg.

At the ceiling has many lanterns that look like shape of 6 or 9.

After finished visited for 2 stations, it’s time to see the show.
