Kingsley Hotel Miri

Usually when travel in Malaysia, I will choose for budget hotel because spend less in accommodation and spend more on shopping . Haha.. This times as attending friend’s wedding, I had chance to stay in deluxe room with some friends.

Around 9 p.m., we were arrived hotel. As my friend had helped us to book for rooms so hotel has reserve rooms for us. Advisable to book for the room if you want standard room which cheaper as the times we were there, all the standard rooms were fully booked.

The times we in Miri, the sky keep raining. As many of us did not bring umbrella so I had asked the front office to see whether can borrow umbrella or not. The receptionist pointed a side near with sofa and all  the umbrellas had been taking by hotel guests. 

When get the room key card, it has wifi password on there. I am satisfied with its wifi services. Remember to take care of key card as any lost or damage card will need to pay RM 30 of penalty.

The hotel’s check out time is 12 noon and a half day charge of room rate will be added for extended checkout time before 6 p.m. and a full day charge after 6 p.m.

Our room rate did not include breakfast so I did not try the food in restaurant.

Before you go into lift, you can see a shoe polish machine. This is very good for businessman as they can polish their shoes before go to work or meeting.

Our room is deluxe room which has a standard bed and queen size bed. Three of us stayed in this room. This room looks big and comfortable.

The TV in room can access the CCTV video channel as surrounding of hotel premises has 24 hour CCTV surveillance. You can always check for your own transport which parking around hotel. The parking is free and reserved for customer.

In room has some common equipment and things such as fridge, iron (inside cupboard), kettle and many more. The drinking water is free of charge. The switches are enough for three of us to charge hand phone.

In washroom, has some toiletry such as comb, razor, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush. The washroom is quite big.

If really want to say the cons of this room will be the soundproof is not good because can hear the people walk around. I was thinking that whether our neighbor will hear of our talk especially the ghost story in the night. Haha..

The location of this hotel is strategic as it is easy for you go to shopping mall such as Bintang Mega Mall & Imperial Mall. Besides that it also near with Miri Street Art. Near with hotel has bakery, restaurants and so on.
