Genting Highlands 2017: First World Hotel

Check into the World’s largest hotel and check out the wonderful attractions right at its doorstep, including SkyAvenue, the resort’s latest lifestyle mall with a variety of retail and food and beverage outlets- Rwgenting

The check in time is 3:00pm onwards while check out time is 11:00am. During check in is using check in Expres Check-in Kiosk which needs to use identity card or passport. Then take the room card at kiosk with a small paper with informing all the details such as room number, tower and many more. You also can check in at front office but need to pay RM15. When check out just go to Self-Checkout Kiosk and put the card inside the kiosk and done.

We stayed in Super Deluxe room which has 2 double beds (you also can choose 1 queen size bed during check in). A night cost RM 215.00. Our room at Tower 2, 22nd floor with room number 22950. You can make online booking at website of Resort World Genting.

In room did not have WiFi so if you want to get free WiFi only available at lobby. The room is big with some furniture such as table, sofa and so on.

In each level has a water refill machine for you to refill water.

Hotel did offer free shuttle bus to Chin Swee Caves Temple. As due to the bad weather, I did not have chance to go.

Genting Highlands has 2 casinos. Sky Casino is very near with First World Hotel and it is very big (2 floors). Inside casino can get free drinks. Remember that wearing slippers is no allows to go in. Casino De Genting is a small casino and I did not go in to visit. Only adults who 21 years old and above can go in casino.

At hotel lobby has Lobby Café. We did eat breakfast at there because no many places can look for breakfast. The choice of breakfast is limited such as chicken noodle soup RM 20.50, breakfast fried rice RM 16.00, fried noodle RM 16.00, nasi lemak and wanton noodle (dry/soup).  During booking the hotel, we did get the 20% discount voucher for dine in this café therefore we used the voucher for our breakfast. Beside Lobby Café, you can look for café name “Nyonya Color” which offer quite reasonable price of breakfast.
