2015-07 Favorite Songs of Postcard Senders

Start from June 2015, I had made a little small changers in my Postcrossing profile which was ask for favorite song from postcard senders. The reason to ask for favorite song is to enhance my music which not only listen to Chinese songs.

The favorite song of Memi (Thailand) is “If You” by Big Bang. After heard the song of “If You” in Youtube, I knew that this is a sad song. This song is the saddest song ever in Big Bang’s history.

Shoko (Japan) like the song of “Survive” by Miyavi. She likes the unique guitar playing style and cool looks of Miyavi. This song released in the album of “What’s My Name?”.  When I saw the video, for me the singing style of Miyavi is so rock.

My First Traveler’s Notebook

The Midori Traveler’s Notebook (TN) is more than just an ordinary notebook. It is a canvas for travelers, artists, writers and thinkers alike to put down their innermost thought, musings and memories of paper, brimming with boundless creative potential – Tabiyo Shop

I had seen many people start using TN to record their life which made me also feel to have one. At that time I did not buy it because I did not know which TN is suitable to me so I kept looking at people how to use TN on social media to find which TN is suitable for me to use.

Last, I choose Weekly + Memo Free Diary refill to record because I just need to write some points or words for each day while it also has a memo paper for me to use it wisely (receipt, sticker, drawing etc.) . The reason to choose weekly TN was if using blank TN, I think I cannot write so much on the page while if using monthly TN, I might be no enough to write on it.

I purchased TN with Tabiyo Shop during this Raya because it offered free shipping with any purchases. Tabiyo did not have internet banking service so I paid with debit card. For your information that payment method provided is PayPal or with a credit card from Visa, MasterCard and America Express.

TABIYO in Japanese means “Let’s Travel”. It is an online boutique based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia specializing in fine stationery and paper products. The store’s bestseller is the Midori Traveler’s Notebook, imported from Japan.

This Weekly + Memo Free Diary refill is a combination of a weekly schedule and memo paper. It is updated and completely customizable, containing 6 months worth of weekly pages in a vertical format, 2 open pages displaying a 12 month catalogue.

I had used this TN for 2 weeks to record my life. I found out that the quality of the paper is great because it is easily to peel off the washi tape when I wrongly stick it. Unlike normal paper that the paper will stick on tape when torn it out. My drawing really need to improve :P

Books: My Road Planner

Recently the founder of My Road Planner, Chok Yen Hau had released two new books which are <在地小旅行> and <自游马来西亚>.

*My Road Planner is Malaysia in-depth travel sharing platform.

Before this, I was lucky that had won an English version of <发现大马> or < Discover Malaysia >. I did not start read yet but when I flip the book, I found out that the book had introduced many places which I did not hear about it. Therefore when I knew that Mr. Chok had released new books, I had bought these two new books together with two books which had been published before.

All these books had introduced in-depth travel in Malaysia so you will find many places which you did not hear about it. The objective of the books is “Discover Malaysia with new eyes”. I did not start read yet, but you can click the name of the book to see the few pages of the book.

During purchases of the new books, I had received freebies such as Kiehl’s sample, postcards, vouchers and photography pictures with photo fame. All the books were wrapped together with blue ribbons.

Map: Tai Chung (Taiwan) & Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia)

Tai Chung Map

I was so lucky that had won some gifts which included Tai Chung Map from Fan page of Fish Travel. Fish had published few illustration travel books.

Actually the prize which won by me was Tai Chung Map but Fish was so generous that gave me some stickers and postcards.

It was my first time to receive illustration travel map, hope I can use it in future.

The postcards look so beautiful and I will keep for myself instead of send it out.
